Enjoy all-natural honey from Wisconsin!
The earliest record of keeping bees in the hives was found in the sun temple erected in 2400 BC near Cairo. The bee was featured frequently in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and being favored by pharaohs it is often symbolized royalty.
Here in Wisconsin, our records don't go back that far. However, our flavorful honey attempts to make history by offering itself up as a taste sensation worthy of mention in the Honey All of Fame.
Our "Apple of My Eye" honey was produced in responsibly managed beehives in Wisconsin's Hill country. With access to apple orchards and wild apple trees, the bees also had access to blackberry, elderberry, basswood, and a variety of local flowers.
This rich feeding and pollinating territory has created a honey with an aromatic and rich flavor. Excellent in tea, on toast, in your special recipe, or simply as a stand-alone taste sensation.
One taste and you'll understand why we call this the "Apple of My Eye".
